The school academic year consists of three terms beginning in April. For
promotion to the next class, the marks of all the terms will be consolidated
and taken into consideration.
The school emphasizes a Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), which covers
scholastic and non-scholastic achievements. In addition to Term Tests; pupils
behavior, development in non-cognitive area; participation in House Activities,
curricular and co-curricular activities and community service will also be
watched and evaluated. The school gives due weightage to percentage of
attendance, home-work and class-work, projects and practical work. Efforts are
made to evaluate the child in all the three domains of her behavior cognitive,
effective and psychomotor. The school maintains a cumulative record of each
child.
No student shall be allowed to appear at the final examination unless all dues
have been paid off.
Willful breach of examination rules is punishable with expulsion from the
examination room or if discovered subsequently, cancellation of paper. In all
cases the decision of the Principal shall be final.
For reasons such as unsatisfactory progress in studies, failing in 3 or more
than 3 subjects, insufficient attendance, indiscipline or serious, misconduct
etc., a student may be debarred from the examination/may not be allowed renewal
of admission.
The school academic session extends
from April to March
. Unit tests
and Term Tests would be held at regular intervals throughout the academic
session to help in the continuous comprehensive evaluation of the performance
of the students.
Student absent from examination will not be given any second chance.
