Yoga
Yoga in school is aimed for overall integrated personality development viz
physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of students.
Different asanas are divided in three parts according to their benefits :
“Sthiramsukhamasanam” “height, flexibility and health”, “weight control and
strength”, asanas like suryanamaskar, vajrasan, padmasan, yogamudra, mudukasan,
paschimotanasan, sarvangasana, matsyasana, gomukhasana, bakasana etc are
introduced and practiced regularly by students. Meditation, mudra and pranayam
are practiced for hormonal balance, mental development and immunity
development.
Emphasis is given on sattvik aahaar, science of living, positive thinking,
self-analysis are discussed for better health and memory power. Some easy
contemptations and creative imaginations are introduced for mental refinement
and curing stress, depression, anger, fear, invitation etc. Asanas, Jalmeti,
Pranayam and aahaar is also introduced to cure breathing, ashtama, sinus,
mental or physical weakness etc.lities has started functioning. Thanks to our
