Laboratories - Well equipped, sunny and airy labs
occupy the place of pride on the 2nd floor in mgps.

The Chemistry lab can accommodate 48 students at a time. A platform in front of
the room allows the teacher to scrutinize the working of students in one
glance.

The Biology and Bio-Tech labs are on their way of being equipped with the most
modern instruments available.

Project work, teaching of classes in labs is carried on throughout the year in
accordance with the principle of practical being more instructive than theory.

Physics Lab measuring 63’ X 28’ is the largest laboratory of mgps. It has large
of different sizes each equipped with cupboards (numbering 1-48) underneath.
Each table/cupboard is designed to hold all the required equipment for the
practical. A store holds the extra equipment and consumables as well as all the
material required for secondary school practical. A teachers’ room for two
senior physics teachers includes storage shelves.
Physics Department Library contains books for reference as well as for
Competitive Examinations viz. IIT/PET/CPMT/NTSE etc.
